wrong to steal
from their friend? How hard is it to make the larger point that
stealing hurts music, once you have made the smaller point that
stealing hurts their friend?
Kids are smarter tham we imagine and they look for us as leaders.
Unfortunately we are usually total crap at that job.
(and a bunch of us are running for president)

Replacement due to fire? lol
:DHoly River was absolutely amazing to see them play in person. That lead
break is one guy on a 12 string electric tuned to 5ths. Scott could easily
outshred John McLaughlin on a 12 string electric, without even breathing
hard. I'll never forget the time that Space Opera opened for the Byrds and
played 8 miles high so well that the Byrds got pissed and dropped it from
their set that night.
If you want to hear something absolutely amazing, download the entire song
called Guitar suite and the song called Over and Over and hold on to your
hat.

Actually, the guitar solo starts at about 1.26 on the Over and Over clip,
so you can hear a good part of it online.

Also check out the clip of Awake IIIHoly River is my favorite out of all the clips.
Why does a song called "Guitar Suite" have so much harmonica
in it?

I've seen these videos in the past. I don't see the dirt floor factories,
but they do exist. It's great that you can now buy a two dollar rubber hammer
that's made in China, but we are paying over three dollars for a gallon of
gas. Being that I live in Detroit, the motor city, a manufacturing city
/ state, I have to say, free trade is not free right now, it costs American
jobs. It is costing us our standard of living. I would encourage people
to stop buying Chinese products, or at least slow down. Everybody should
be writing their congressmen about changing our trade agreements.

I just listened to the clip of Holy River. It peters out before the guitar
solo. As a guitarist extraordanaire yourself, you'd probably enjoy it on a
technical level..
;o)Three bucks for a gallon of gas???
Sheesh, in Australia petrol has hit US$5.00 per U.S. gallon. (3.8 litres).
But if you think that's bad, my housemate just got back from the UK,
and it's over US$8.00 there.
Live it up!! Me??, I'm gonna buy me another rubber mallet...:-))

Haven't see this yet, but I'll check it out. That's my point "What he says doensn't
bother me, it's what I feel he's not saying that worries me
likelyhood of hidden agendas.
While I agree about his stance on the war and the current administration,
I disagree with every other point. And, hi svoting record in the past is
very helter-skelter. I think Russert questions were tough and fair. He seemed
to have caught RP off guard with soem of those questions of his past political
career. To me, after you get past the anit-war, anti Bush stuff, his domestic
views are anitiquated. All in all, he (RP)comes off as an old politician
that needed "new blood" pumped into his viens to revive his stalled political
career. Then, the so-called War in Iraq came and he took thee most unpopular
stance for a Republican. That got him national attention. He's not so radicl
on the domestic front.

And I don't want to get to the point where it's hard to reverse. Matter of fact, right now it's getting more difficult everyday to reverse this trend, because the American people seem to so often say, "You know I want to be-- I can't be free, if I'm not safe. So, I want my government to make me safe." And they're willing to give up their liberties. And I'm convinced that you never have to give up liberties to be safe. >http://www.codeweavers.com/I think what RP is questioning is if Iran/Hezbollah is a threat to the US.
Hezbollah didn't 'kick ass' v. Israel last time, they were invaded and managed
not to be beaten. This is impressive tactically considering that the IDF
is the second or third best trained and equipped army in the world. But the
idea that any state or non-state military force could seriously threaten
the integrity of Israel proper is comical. Israel is a nuclear power that
everyone knows will defend itself and will receive (and has received) from
the US any help it needs.
I think the Smedley Butler line where we defend the littoral waters and that's
it is outdated at this point. In fact, I'd say it's a hell of a lot more
important to protect international shipping lanes than it is nearly any other
country in the world, from a US strategic sense (quick, you can have the
Panama canal or Boliva, what's the pick?) But I think RP makes the point
that we can't define the entire world as either a our bestest buddy (we will
defend no matter what) or our worstest enemy (we will do anything to menace.)
In addition to it being strategically insane, we can't really afford it anymore.

I don't happen to agree with what RP has to say about immigration, and a
lot of other things, but how is he a racist?

Most of my team at Xerox has gone to MacBook Pro computers running Parallels
and it is fantastic. Ihave created virtual machines of Win 2k, XP, Vista
Home, Vista Ultimate and SuSe Linux.
Things can get a bit slow when running 3 or 4 VMs simultaneously.
Most of us have OS X and XP running side-by-side on dual monitors and it
really is the best of both worlds.
However, I can't comment on running Windows audio apps in this configuration
as I haven't tried. It does, however, run our Windows VPN software with no
problems whatsoever.
Hope this helps!

American does not "Want" to know nothing. They only want to be told what
to do and thnk.
It's not the educational system's fault. The American people have tuned out
Politics as a whole. To a man, the American people after Bush 2 elections
have tuned out the Goverment nor do they have faith in the Gov. That's why
8 out of 10 don;t know who Dick Cheny is or other US current facts.

You should see his (Russert's) interview of Guilliani.>Whew!! That's was
rough on Rudy. It definitly showed some contridictions in his political career.
Rudy stumbled and fumbled and got twisted up .. You could tell that he was

SOME Windows programs...Nothing that we'd use really.
Martin HHis coddling of Rice and Rumsfeld leading up to the war soured me on him forever.
Beating up on more or less untested presidential candidates is one thing,
asking tough questions of a made and reckless regime, well that can lose
you a job. So he got out the knee pads and lip gloss when Condi and Rummy
dropped 'round.
You still didn't explian how RP is a racist.

He looks pretty tubular to me......and there was nothing wrong with the
soundtrack........it's just the French version.
;o)Neil and Tonehouse are right. Sometimes a connouter valve will spontaneously
crossthread some of the PVC fittings that are wired to the flush handle and
when that happens, you can sometimes try to fumigate the blowhole sprocket
with a steam iron, but usually it's quicker to just reseat the PCI cards.

Matter of fact, right now it's getting more difficult everyday to reverse this trend, because the American people seem to so often say, "You know I want to be-- I can't be free, if I'm not safe. >I might also be asking, if I were Norwegian, exactly what's wrong with those
F-16s? Granted, Norway is menaced on one side by those notoriously warmongering
Swedes and on the other side by, um, a very large number of fish. Many of
those fish are cod, and you Norwegians have been infuriating them for a thousand
years by turning them into lutefisk. That said, cod notably lack opposable
thumbs, money, and the ability to survive outside of water for more than
a few minutes, so I don't see them as likely to acquire any significant anti-aircraft
capacity.
This brings us back to the Swedes. I've never been to Norway but I visited
Stockholm once and they might be winning in the 'Hot Nordic Babe Race' but
I'm not sure even anti-ballistic missile systems would help with that.
So, considering Norway's enviable geopolitical gifts (remote location, rough
terrain, long and difficult to breach coastline, a high quality navy, extensive
oil reserves and superb energy exploration skill, no ABBA), I might tell
that US ambassador where to stick it. A good pilot in an F-16 can defend
against nearly any damn plane in the world, and they're dirt cheap to repair
and maintain. The planes it can't defend against are owned by the US, Russia,
Israel, and India and if Norway winds up in a shooting war with one of those
countries, well, it's time to hunker down with the lutefisk and lefse and
sue for peace.

just
people who've refused
to use race as an excuse).
1 - we were talking about education, not welfare, health care or feeding the
poor. Handouts don't make people want to become more educated, and lack of
handouts don't prevent people from going to the public library, doing their
homework, or listening in class. Granted not all schools have great
teachers, but all schools have students that don't try. Sorry, but you
won't get any sympathy by claiming that the "pull yourself up" mentality is
wrong and a "white man's" point of view. See my previous paragraph for the
reasons why.
2 - you said: "But, I totaly disagree with you about "Handouts never work
". People, companys,farmers,this
country needs bailouts , and have excpeted handouts, bailouts if you
will."
Therein lies the problem - "have expected handouts". Any program that gives
handouts on a regular basis
with no effective method of turning that handout into a basis for an
individual to work on their own just creates a dependancy
rather than true effective change. Like I said, helping each other is one
of the best things we can do
with our time and resources, but creating dependancy on handouts is
dangerous. We all need help from time to
time, and as a society I agree - the balance of wealth is dangerously skewed
in many areas: artist, entertainers, and sports stars
are at the top of my list, yet that's one area most people are happy to
spend money on without a second thought of that imbalance, regardless of
their economic capabilities. No need to talk about corporate greed - we're
on the same
page there, but I think your view that "Those Billionairs love to keep us
scabbling and blaming, pointing fingers,
while they continue to rape us of what little monies we try to save.." is
about is victim minded as I've heard.
Really Lamont, if you feel that oppressed by corporate America, just buy
Japanese and Chinese. ;-) It's easier
than buying American. ;-)) Hope you see the sad humor in that given you are
from the Detroit area - the home
of companies that have for years resisted alternative fuels, more efficient
and enduring engines, supporting the one
industry that has more wealth than our country, and holds the whole world by
the cohones - oil.
Oh.... 3 - you actually don't know what my race is, so aren't you just
reading my post, point of view,
and judging my race based on your own perception of stereotypes? How much
more racist could one possibly be?
Imho the place to stop racism is by individually ceasing to judge people's
potential based on skin color, and judging their
skin color based on their point of view. The rest will follow. Don't judge
just because you think it makes your argument
stronger. Quite the opposite.

Dedric
