's late and I'm not in the studio..) a function called "export as stereo file". Make sure you have .wav selected as file type, and not the default, which I think is SD2. Give it a new name, and you will get an interleaved single file in the output directory.
Hope this helps.
Kim.I'm on XP now. What Kim describes is what I do. The one niggle is that I work in 24-bit. The interleaved .wav is also 24-bit. I use WaveLab lite to truncate it to 16-bit - which I don't think you can do in Paris (please let me know if there's a way).
For a final mixdown I save the L/R 24-bit .paf files, the 24-bit .wav, and 16-bit .wav.Hi All,
I'm looking for some spare parts:
- EDS-1000
- 8 in
- 8 out
- C-16
Working, in good to excellent condition. Strongly prefer US location.
Thanks,

KimDoes r8brain just do sample rate conversions, or does is also change bit depth?
For me, I always record in 44.1k (CD standard), but 24 bit.
Changing bit depth for the CD wav file is just (essentially) losing significant figures on each sample. It would be better if there was some dithering in the processes, but the truncation that WavLab does gets the job done. Sample rate conversion is a lot more math and a lot more opportunity to change the sound, so I've personally stayed away from it.Yes. it does it all! (Have a close look at the screenshots). As long as it's .wav, it does it! It does batch processing too! I use it all the time. When converting bit depth, choose the high quality setting. Takes longer, but no biggie. I have Batch converted 48 one hour tracks of 24 bit 48khz to 16 bit 44khz in one operation. Zero problems. Takes a while, though, as one would expect. Just try it, and let your ears be the judge.
Cheers.
KimHi again.
I've always recorded at 16 bit, so I don't know if "disk recording" (or bouncing real time) a 24 bit project can
