You can't use Cocktail Wrappers in audio... it's like trying to

As I said in another post, $129 for the Lexicon Alpha, which
includes CubaseLE, a license for the very nice Pantheon Reverb,
and a complimentary doorstop... couldn't anyone buy a cheapie
used 'puter for a buck or two & if they weren't going to use
it for streaming audio (just use it for plugin's) use that as a
delay compensator via lightpipeor other? Or am I off-base here?
In either event, a buck-twenty-nine for a nice reverb, a very
useable MIDI app that you can sync with Paris, and a doorstop
ain't all that bad.

You do mean running EDS algo's in VST, right?

Hey! I resemble that remark...Kids is good.
You'll wanna have 2.2 installed first.... presuming you have that already:
Drag a complete *copy* of the 2.2 install directory to your desktop.
Then uninstall 2.2.
Delete the original 2.2 folder (not the copy on your desktop)
Empty recycle.
Reboot.
Install v3 to a directory of a name different from the old 2.2 install dir.
(FWIW, my installs are)
C:\Program Files\EMU\PARIS 2.2
C:\Program Files\EMU\PARIS 3.0
After v3 install reboot.
Launch v3 just to make sure all is well. (you may have to tweak your new
PARIS.cfg file)
Close v3
Drag the desktop copy of 2.2 back to it's original location.
You're done. Now you can lauch either.
Now for my secret tip of the day, just for kicks, or for organization and
time's sake, for any folks who use both versions on one OS install, if you
got a folder in which you worked a project with 2.2, place a copy of the 2.2
executable in that folder. Worked the contents of another folder with
3.0?... put a copy of the v3 .exe in that folder. Double Click either and
they fire up and run just like they're running from their respective install
dirs.
I've mentioned this before but I think I'm probably the only guy doing it.
