cool, and the producer loved it. I still know one
of the guys, let me see if I can get a copy. I actually enjoyed that
project, they were good guys.

Well its a fact that the crappiest music sells the most, so to judge
yourself successful doesn't mean the music is any good.. it just means you
are good at business and have some good political connections.
I dont know how many CDs your buddy sold that you've been posting about, but
wouldn't you consider his music a success? At least on a personal level?> Coast is fun... makes your place look positively current... don't it? ;-)

Living Dead has gone one more step backward into retroville. I've got
these routed to the sends/returns of my (discontinued) Lexicon 284 guitar
amp running into the (discontinued) Lexicon SB 210 stereo cab which is being
mic'ed up with a pair of (discontinued) TL Audio 2001 tube mic preamps.
I do have a hankerin' for some stuff around here that has *Ampex* on the
front plate.. I've never seen more old Ampex machines in one place in my
whole life than were at Coast. I figured they could at least spare a couple,
like a 16 track 2" and a 2 track 1/2". Getting them in the back of my rented
Mustang convertible would have been another story.

1600x1200 and my motherboad
supports that fine. I took the computer to best buy and we hooked it up
to make sure it worked in win98, it looked great.
So I get it home and plug it up and it goes to 1024x768. It was because
I have a 25' VGA cable and my motherboard chipset is a pussy. I put the
GeForce 6200 agp card back in and it shoves electricity down the
Samsungs throat and I get 1600x1200 in Win98SE finally. Unfortunately
the agp card share IRQ's with my 2 EDS cards so we'll see if it works ok
but at least i'm up in resolution now.
The 1600x1200 gives me 16 channels in the mixer window with 2 auxes and
the Submaster fader. Very good !!!!!!!!!
I literally spent over 15 hours screwing with this crap this week and I
hope I'm done for a while. If I ever see DJ I'm gonna format his drive !!!
Well, back to paris land. I got a new job and the guys at work are into
jamming so that will be sweet too.

On Win 98, this does not bode well at all. I think youre going to need an
active repeater for your VGA cable in order to use whatever graphics card it
is that doesn't share an IRQ with the AGP. I just thought I'd add one more
ray of sunshine to your day before you kill me.

It's not that simple. The Beatles, the Police, the Who, and lots of
other great artists sold lots of records. The measure of success
for the art is on the disc, the measure of success for the product,
and a product it is once it leaves their hands, is up to all of us
who produce and promote it, and that measure is sales.
