I understand you don't have the time Doug. I have a somebody in mind, but
of corse it's a long shot. I needed to know, is it a matter of writing an
ASIO driver? Would it be able to work with the MEC I/O modules? Would it
also be able to utilize the EDS effects, what about the C-16?

JamesHey Doug.. Is that $$$$ dollar sign talk.?? :)

Has Apple implemented the *right click* feature in OSX so that a two button
(or more) mouse can be used? I should have checked this last time I was at
the Mac store here. Surely they have by now.

Thanks,

I knew about the sushi on the naked woman thing - had seen that
somewhere before and thought it really creepy that the women had to
chill themselves first.

Well, come to think of it, that would give you a place to put the
onion rings....

Wait. That was just wrong. Sorry.

However, the "gut the fake body like a deer" thing is really just
plain wrong.

pabI was just spec'ing out one of these.Macs on Apple's website with dual
2.66GHz Xeon coreduo CPU's, two 500G backup HD's and 4G RAM. (how they can
justify charging over $1k for 4 x 1G 667MHZ ECC RAM sticks boggles the mind)

Total price from Apple was $4545.00 (without adding Applecare which I would
definitely want to do given some of the experiences I and others here have

Saved a few bucks.

You may want to wait until April 16th to see what Apple is bringing out
for NAB. Might be 8 core time, and a price drop on the quads. Just a guess.

on for days now, people throwing their favorite scientists at each other,
spinning off into barely related left vs right sub-debates, and in the end,
everyone will continue to believe exactly what they WANT to believe.

That being said, I guess I'll get my 2 cents in: first
