UAD Aficionados,

When booting Paris this message occurs:

"A plugin was requested that appears to be unavailable.
Perhaps you uninstalled? The plugin is UAD Pultec-Pro
and Pultec-Pro(m). We recommend if you removed the plugin
from your vst plugins folder, you replace it and run VST Config again."

I have rerun VST config but it never changes the situation. Pultec-Pro
is in the VST folder and I reran the UAD 4.3.exe. Pultec Pro shows in =
the
wrapper with a Y next to it like some of the others. Cambridge EQ works =
fine=20
but not Pultec Pro and they were installed at the same time.

What else can I do? Uninstall UAD 4.3 from add remove programs and try =
again?

Crazy nut bugger,
Tom

I ran the .exe and dropped the .dll into the plugins folder.
Reran the VST wrapper but it never shows up in Paris,
not even in the list in the VST wrapper.

I want my plugins!

Thanks for listening . . .

Kim,
Yes it's in the right folder. Everything else that's there works
except of course the Pultec-Pro... I'll try again.
Thanks!

Hi, Tom.
I'm at a loss.
In the absense of a Steinberg/vstplugins folder, the install creates a =
folder
in the Program Files directory called "solid state logic". It dumps =
the SSL
LMC-1.dll there.
I just moved it, as you did , into my Paris VST plugins folder,=20
and it showed up.
Are you sure you moved it to the very folder that Paris's config=20
is pointing to?
I assume you are using XP.

arket, then move in and put them out of business. At one point I
counted 14 different coffee shops in Athens/Clarke County, the smallest
county in Georgia.

I finally convinced my business partner to go forward with a restaurant
conversion, after years of trying. We brought in a third partner and started
the process. I got sick, basically, borderline nervous breakdown due to
having to do all the work, never mind the years of trying to force myself to
be something I can't be. Then the two of them ran the place into the ground
in record time.

Sheer incompetence, really. My original partner had been a force of
contrariness for years, so I wasn't surprised. I learned a lot of painful
lessons. I hope I show better taste in friends and partners in the future.

But it was one of the best things that ever happened to me, losing that
business. I was so utterly sick of that place I can't put it into words, but
I would never have walked away willingly.
