o build his poll barn. After fighting with them for some time, he told
them that their were things that they couldn't stop him from doing.
As the story goes, one day he started painting his house like a circus tent,
with big stripes, in purple, bright yellow and green. The township council
summonsed him to the township hall. They agreed to give him a permit to
build his poll barn and let him park this truck if he repainted his house
back to the way it was.

http://www.polesoft.com/refer.htmlOK, let me preface this with I don't usually buy 'til I hear it. Right then.
Today I 'heard' it. Let me elaborate some.
I bought a 5 string bass and it came in today. Nothing special, active
electronics and what not, not passive (worth a mention in light of what I'm
about to say). So the salesman, a friend of mine for years tells me that I
really need to check out the Monster Bass Cable (that is the model/name). I
tell him yeah, ok.. sure dude - I've heard this one before. He reiterates.
So now, I'm interested to learn something or prove it wrong. We A/B compare
against a run of the mill Rapco, my live rig is filled with this kind of
cable and it's always been reliable over the years. Open mouth, place jaw on
floor, in

But what about facts ?
I described as much as I could the exact test I made.
It could be that the fxsubsystem you know the minimum setup somehow makes
thing act differently.
YOu are aware that the XPdrivers are a user's contribution.
I just found that the Paris eq output trimmer acts differently under Me as
opposed to XP.
Could it be that the project is corrupted under XP ?
Don't know, the only thing I know is that there is atremendous different
behaviour here.
Because though I also cannot believe that the different OS could make things
sound different just because everything happens inside Paris which is hardware,
thats why I kindly asked for anyone using both XP and Me to just try this
with the EQ output thing.
I really really would want to be wrong here, I eman I hear what I hear but
I hope that my project has a "bug" in it and so Me acts differently than
XP.
Please don't get me wrong here but I would like to sahre any of my findings
right or wrong.
Hope noone gets annoyed with that...

Dimitrios

Hi,
I have doublechecked what I was saying.
I can prove I am right with the attached files.
What I found is happening is the following:
Under Me only when you hit +20 on your BigEq (Graphic eq you can here a somewhat
distorted sound.
Now open your first EQ slot (at your left on your Bigeq) and put a highpass
at 260hz.
Now you hear super distortion !!!!
This does NOT apply for XP.
Soone thing I proved here i9s that Paris BigEq FIRST ONLY Eq slot of BigEq
ACTS DIFFERENTLY.
Please before saying anything that understimates my efforts regarding the
above if you are on Me try it...
Hope this opens up a new concept for further investigating Paris.
Don't you love that ??
Regards,
Dimitrios
