Brad,

Did you ever get my email? I was wondering, since I also didn't hear
back from my last posting here.

Unless someone bought the whole rig.

pabi have now get paris installed on pc/ with xp !!
it works THANK YOU AARON.
everything worked, but i have a little problem too:-(
i cant hear/see an signal in the mixer.
when i get in the audio window and push on the speaker icon for every single
track i hear the signal.
then i add this single track to mixer window and i hear nothing and see no
signal.
can anybody help me??Hi, anyone with Paris 3.0 software for the Mac?
Thanks,
John

jahndhi@comcast.netOK, there are cards for sale all over the place, until I need one.

I was hoping to buy one from Brad's pile, but never got a reply from
him either via email or the group.

So, I have a concert at the theatre on April 15th. I need more
channels - I need another 8in card.

Please let me know.

Or, alternatively, if you have one you could lend me for a couple of
weeks, and then I'll look to buy one later...

HELP!!!

pabWipe all device connections in the patchbay and manually reconnect all
devices. That's likely the deal.

If you are interested in anything email me at :
alex.plasko@snet.netI would like to post here how great chainer goes with senderella especially
regarding the aux bus returns.
You can save on audio tracks by using only two audio tracks for your stereo
senderella returns with ,in my example , 4 stereo busses (you can use more
!)
Chainer has these vst pages one over the other or on after the other.
So you can return senderella 1&2 on Chainer page 1 (Paris audio track 31,32
(two cards system) senderella 3&4 on page 2.... sendrella 7&8 on page 4.
Every page has another 8 vst slots so you can put a vst eq to eq your aux
returns (different on every page so on every aux return !) you can put a
stereo compressor ,or whatever you like it too.
So your Paris rig can have as many aux returns as you want by only sacrificing
(using )two Paris audio tracks.
My preset uses 8 aux busses configured either mono or stereo (4 stereo).
I believe thats enouph !
The only small drawback is that my default project takes around 2 minutes
to load !!!
I don't know why...
Regards,
Dimitriosall sold except for:

C16 - $25

>ChrisOK, here's what I've got left:

* Groove Tubes GT66 LDC Tube mic $350.

* B.L.U.E. Blueberry w/wood box & B.L.U.E. shockmount/windscreen
$700.

Both in minty-fresh condition.. pics here:
http://www.saqqararecords.com/html/4sale.htm

Stuff that's not really something you'd need to see a pic of:

* Creamware/Scope Pulsar Project Card & SyncPlate $750.
This is like basically getting a brand-new Project card (used
less than a handful of tims) for $50 off street price, and
getting a sync plate thrown in for free. The Project Card has
6 SHARC DSP chips, and this version is one with the "puls" i/o options -
balanced analog i/o's, 2 lightpipe in's, 2 lightpipe
outs, and MIDI in/out/thru. For those of you who haven't seen
these, it's pretty close to the size of an EDS card. You can
get more details here:
http://www.infinitevortex.com/creamware/scope-cards/project/

* MOTU Symphonic Instrument. VSTi, sounds nice & clean, well-
recorded samples it seems - it's just not my cup o' tea. Has a
built-in convo reverb! License is via iLok (included). $200.
Info link & demo clips here:
http://www.motu.com/products/software/msi

Paris gear-wise, I would consider a trade or partial trade for
an 8-in module and/or an ADAT card.

Other-gear-wise, I could use a superclean/superfast preamp like
a Massenburg, or something of that ilk. Could use something
interesting in the way of compressors.

Depending on what you were trading to me, and for which of my
stuff we were trading for, I'm open to working the cash portion
(if any is needed) in either direction.

>ChrisDeej,

Do you still have the IF-2 and the C-16?

I'm seriously considering splitting my existing Paris system with a mate
of mine who has built himself a studio. I'm not sure what bits and pieces
I'll need or he'll need at this stage, but an IF-2 might be handy for a couple
of extra inputs for one or both of us, and I only have one C-16 so that may
also be handy.

I'm just thinking out loud at this point, but thought I'd drop you a line
to see if you still have them.

Cheers,
Kim.

Yours for $1995, free US shipping.

Thanks,

Chris LangI bought this unit last summer for a CD-release gig; it worked
fabulously for my needs: to make my sax sound like a full horn
section.

I thought it would be a crucial part of my rig... and I haven't
used it since. I think I've reached the gear "tipping point",
and I'd rather just play my horn by itself.

It is a remarkable unit for pitch correction, harmony, and vocal
effects. Floor pedal ruggedness. But heck, you already know
that.

I paid over $700; yours for $500, freee US shipping.

DamirHi,
I have a new Lavry blue da converter ,just tried it to hear it.
Most of you know that this is world class.
I am selling because this is a modular system ,accepts more AD/DA and micpreamps
from Lavry which I won't need.
Secondly I only do 44.1khz so this is 96khz capable system and I have won
a 44.1khz used Mytek from ebay so I cannot keep both.
I am sure that this will sound a little better than the mytek but I believe
this won't be much while mytek have a great reputation too...
Please make ma an offer...
This unit has the modular 1u case and one da module installed so it can be
used right away as a standalone da converter of the highest quality.

I just "mixed down" an edited drum track and when I brought it into Nuendo
with the music track I edited it too it was short by roughly 173 ms

So I brought the L&R (Drum edit mix) PAF's back into the project and
although they lined up musically when I zoomed into the front of the tracks
sure enough there was a space between the start of the track and "zero" on
the time line.

Rendering these tracks gave them both a zero start point and all was well
with the world but man what a friggin surprise

is this normal?

I've never noticed a problem before.

>Hi,
I am selling the ADI-PRO8 (48khz version) heavily modified.
Channels 1-4 have the LN6172 chip , a very fast and open sounding chip !
Power supply has been heavily bypassed for great midrange response !
Outputs 7,8 also have the LN6172 so these can be used as your main monitor
outputs while the sound is crystal clear with a lot of depth and 3d dimension.
Selling because I decided to keep the lavry and add extra modules on that
!
If you don't want the power supply bypass I can take it out.
Without this the sound is the normal RME sound with a dip in the mids as
so to have pronounced highs and lows (smile type of sound).
Make me an offer.
Regards,
DimitriosWill be meeting with my dude tonight, I'll try to wrap up the details and
get back to you ASAP !
Thanks man

Just thought you might want to know about the
current UAD PARIS group buy / crossgrades and UAD vouchers

Special for the PARIS community going on now !
UAD-1 DSP cards

$ 325 on project pak * plus 50 bonus voucher
$ 575 on Flexi - Pak * includes 500 voucher plus $100 bonus voucher
$ 949 on Ultra pak * plus 150 bonus voucher
$ 375 on EXPRESS Pak PCI-E * includes 100 voucher plus 50 bonus voucher
$ 849 on EXPERT Pak PCI-E * includes 750 voucher plus 100 bonus voucher
We're giving you three reasons to run out and buy UAD DSP cards, right now.
Are you ready? The reasons are: $50, $100, and $150!

That's right! If you purchase and register a new UAD DSP PAK between April
1st, 2007 and June 30th, 2007, you'll get a non-expiring UAD$ Voucher for
the UA Online Store. The bigger the PAK, the bigger the voucher. It works
like this:

UAD-1 UAD-1e UAD$ Voucher
1. Project PAK Express PAK 50
2. Flexi PAK Expert PAK 100
3. Ultra PAK Extreme PAK 150

Once again, these UAD$ Vouchers DO NOT EXPIRE! You may use them at any time
in the future, on any item in the UA Online Store. All you need to do is
purchase and register those UAD DSP cards. The UAD$ Vouchers will appear
automatically.

There is no limit to the number of cards you can buy, and vouchers you can
get, but remember, a maximum of four UAD DSP cards can be used per computer.

Promotion expires June 30th, 2007 at midnight, Pacific time.
