ave a new computer with paris installed on it already.
I will take it back from my tech tomorrow and try it.

If I have 5 bad EDS cards then I'm outta here.
They worked last week. I had one and maybe three burn't mecs.
Even then Paris worked with all 5 cards and one Mec.

There is no rhyme or reason here. What is causing the hardware to go?
I'm still not totally convinced it is gone. Tomorrow will tell.

Thanks for chiming in at such a late hour. This is my twice/week event
with Paris.

same experience at work with am EMU 1820M. The external breakout box =
died,
and Adobe Audition became useless. It was the same kind of nightmare. =
Two
employees stayed up all night trying to sort it out to get a tape out =
to
a TV station the next day.

I wouldn't give up on PARIS over this. Hardware failures happen no =
matter
what platform you use - even tape - and they can be hell to sort out. =

I'd ask your tech to lend you a PC, and just try installing a simple =
PARIS
system in there. If it works, just get a new PC. =20
