Erick,
That sounds easier than it seems?=20
I'll keep my note pad ready on the next reinstall.
Next time maybe I'll succeed?
Thanks for the tip,

Not sure how far you are into this thing, but you can do it and I have =
done it many times. Just install the new motherboard and when windows =
begins to boot it will begin installing the new hardware for your new =
motherboard. All the stuff it can't find drivers for it will put an =
exclamation point by in the device manager. Just go on the internet or =
find your disks and load the drivers for the stuff it couldn't install. =
Also, if you are using Windows XP you will have to call in and explain =
to them what your doing (it will give you the number to call). Just tell =
them you changed motherboards, read them a bunch of numbers off the =
screen, they will read you a bunch of numbers to plug in, and your off.

I know the answer to this question or at least I think I do, but
I am hoping someone will tell me different.
Is there a way to swap a motherboard with a totally different MB
and reload all the drivers without wiping the HD clean and starting =
from
scratch & still have a stable system?
Thanks,

MRI'm working with someone who has Cubase SE -they are new to the program, as
am I. They want to record a vocal and be able to pitch shift it up or down
at least a major 2nd, perhaps a major 3rd. Does Cubase come with a pitch
shifter that will do this. I've never had to even use a pitch shifter. I
have a ten octave range :-), and anyhow, generally love the Alvinnesque tone
I typically produce.
Thanks dudes.
MRHi Mike,
I'm not sure if Cubase SE (Lite version) has pitch shift plug in. The
larger versions do have one. If you are looking for pitch correction
then that would be a paid plug in from the like of Celemony, Antares.

Actually, I found the problem.......and as usual with these things, it was a
bad connection which is now fixed.

This is really sad.Thats just down the road from where we are on Mystic Street.
I'm lovin the area. Just went for a bike ride down the minuteman
bike trail. We have Mystic Lake not to far away also where I walk
my dogs regularly.
I've heard several people mention Blue Ribbon BBQ now. I'll
have to check it out soon.
peace,

Sad to hear it. My wife and kids and I really enjoyed this guy.I actually sent his producers a tune of mine a few years back.
It was an AC/DC sort of thing about how these lazy animals were
all derelict at their jobs for not biting this guy more often...
They didn't use it, of course. I'm kind of glad now...
What a character Irwin was. He will be missed.

I engineered hundreds of sessions with him in the late 70's to mid 80's and
he would play around with all those licks then.
He's also a magnificent bass player, and an outstanding drummer.
I'm extremely proud and excited that the world has come to appreciate him as
we all did in Australia in the 80's.
