>Hi Kim,
I've been thinking about this. The ESP Chip has circular delays, which means
that position 0 should be the very last sample in the array the last time
the clock ticked, or one past on the current tick. Having said that, the
array is initialized at 48k so that it is long enough for the longest possible
series of samples. I suspect that you are jumping to the full length of
the array by setting the predelay to zero, which would be longer that what
you would expect as long as you are at 44.1k.
I hope this clears it up. I'll just leave it as a "feature".

I bought it. I've tried it a few times. So far, I've gotten better results
without it. It Is handy for showing you what's amiss with the freq's though.
Maybe I just need to spend more time with it.
RodDeej said here a couple of years ago that he tried it with better results
for his ears, if I remember correctly. I have it too and for my ears it
seems more to smooth out the over all frequencies. If it's to the better, I
think it's handle more about taste and just learn how to use it to the
better.

In the unfortunate event of a fire, the last thing you need is to be
unconcious on the floor because of inhalation of chemicals from burned wire
jacket while the blaze takes you over. It's kinda bad for your long term
health to be a s'mores.
If you're not sure, ask a pro at the place you purchase the wire. Not
something you want to play with.
