Why... do you have a fife, and a drum to play?
:)Both these mics have been sent to Neumann for a full eval. I had a
lcorrespondence with Klaus Heyne about this issue and he thought that
Neumann could probably fix this issue in about an hour.. If so, I'm going to
hold the seller's feet to the fire. If the capsule is hosed, I'm going ask
for my money back. I checked the other capsule on both amps, and it works
great, as do the amps (apparently).

had one of the largest Paris systems in use
out there and well while @ another music retailer, I sold Paris sytems by
the boatloads, to many of ya'll I'm sure! So I'm curious, since Paris is
long gone, how many here are still using Paris? And how many have moved
on to other systems? If you've moved on, what are you using now?
Brad Lyons-SweetwaterNo, it was a political post passed off as a joke.
General please... Is it too much to ask?

ting my head around tech stuff.
paris, edmund, what's his name(ID), was the greatest thing i ever encountered.
and paris was so much less expensive(and at the time, better sounding than
pro tools-- didn't they reverse engineer everyting?)
so i am eternally grateful to those guys and people like you
who made it possible.
(let's bot forget chuck duffy!)
after 10 or more professionally produced and released CD's,
i am
yours

70% just doing my own stuff, it really suits me just to use
Paris, especially with the prices these days. Still sounds great to me too.
Cheers,

ind. I was
burned out on audio, I took some time off--but not am back into it.
I use (2) ProToolsHD3 Accel's, each with a Control24. I also use the Digidesign
DShow Venue live tied to an HD system. I have another PC running Nuendo,
Sonar, Cubase4 and a few other programs (all 100% legit) as testing setups
so I can better understand the programs and plugins for my clients. I'm
mixing television post and live broadcast, as well as tracking and mixing
live concerts where I regularly work with 48-80 tracks live. LOL I sometimes
am recording as much as 800MB of data PER MINUTE! :-)
Here's the control room at my home studio:

And the control room at my church:
