Thanks Tony! It really is a wast of my time to get in to the mud with them.
It's hard when some Mac basher starts spewing a bunch of ignorant shit.
A guy on another NG said that Apple was just copying the PDA, and ripping
off Palm and Microsoft with the touch screen PDA thing. Apparently he had
never heard of the Apple Newton. I didn't bother posting a reply, I figure
some day somebody will straiten him out.
I like LaMont and we go back a ways, other wise I wouldn't spend five minutes
on this. It's funny how we all see the same thing differently.
It's the cheap shots, calling some one a lier and the general untruths and
bashing that brings me out on this. It's all insulting to the Mac users.
When we had a poll of who was still here a couple of years ago, just over
100 people replyed. Just over 40 of them were Mac users. Some of those
people were encouraged to switch platforms. I think there some option advantages
to switching to the PC, but the headaches! Since there are a bunch of Mac
users here I don't think it's fair for there to be all the bashing. Everybody
has a right to their opinion, but not to the untruths. Nobody should be
insulted for using a Mac or be made to feel bad about using a Mac. Just
because 90% of the world uses PCs doesn't make them right. Just because
there were more Ford Escort sold world wide in the 90's than any other car,
doesn't mean it was the best car you could buy.
In the future, if I make a post about any Apple products I will try to refrain
for making any comments unless asked, or someone starts Bashing.
