Here's another trick to think about. I've got a Lexi PCM 91, a Quantec
Yardstick, a Sony DPS-V77 and a Roland R-880. All of these units have AES
I/O (well.the R-880 is using a s/pdif>AES format converter) and it is
possible to route these through an RME ADI4 DD unit which converts AES to
ADAT and interptch them across as many MECS as you want, as long as each MEC
has an ADAT module so you can create 4 separate auxes, each dedicated to the
repective outboard processor, across as many submixes as you have MECs with
ADAT modules. I guess this is similar to what you are doing with the KSP-8,
right?
